Happy Happy Soy Boy is a beloved café staple, celebrated for its smooth taste and reliable performance. But breaking out of niche café culture to make a splash in mainstream retail is no small feat. With a national launch in Coles, the mission was to capture attention and drive consideration in a category dominated by bland competitors. How could a humble soy milk stand out and become the happiest choice on the shelf? By bringing its unique charm and joyful personality to life for a wider audience.





We created Happylandia – a vibrant, animated world where joyful soybeans live for one purpose: becoming part of Happy Happy Soy Boy, through ANY means necessary. This quirky campaign transformed soy milk from an everyday product to an exciting experience. Sentient soybeans cheerfully embraced their destiny in violent and hilarious ways, showcasing the brand’s superior taste and happy vibe. Through an immersive animated film, lively social media content, and OOH, we broke away from category norms and encouraged audiences to choose happiness.
