Part 2: Paris in black and white
This is part two of my photography studies, where I look at Paris in black and white. I enjoyed exploring Paris and marvelling at how well intact many of it’s beautiful buildings are, considering it had thousands of irate Nazis stomping through it in their hob-nail boots just 70 years ago. I was still surprised though at how rude many Parisians appeared to be. I would have thought that after decades of owning the less than prestigious title of ‘most obnoxious people in the world’, the people of Paris would band together and make a concerted effort to turn the tide of disdain towards tourists. After all, Paris prides itself as having some of the world’s greatest tourist attractions. It’s a tourism Mecca. Time to get over the hype and embrace the notion that the world loves you. Love it back.
